Some again offer hearing and other senses as sacrifice in the fires-of-restraint; others offer sound and other objects of sense as sacrifice in the fires-of-the-senses.

śrotrādīni = such as the hearing process; indriyāṇi = senses; anye = others; saṃyama = of restraint; agniṣu = in the fires; juhvati = offer; śabdādin = sound vibration, etc.; viṣayān = objects of sense gratification; anye = others; indriya = of the sense organs; agniṣu = in the fires; juhvati = they sacrifice.;
