Others also, not knowing this, worship, having heard of it from others; they too, cross beyond death, if they would regard what they have heard as their Supreme Refuge.

anye = others; tu = but; evaṃ = thus; ajānantaḥ = without spiritual knowledge; śrutvā = by hearing; anyebhyaḥ = from others; upāsate = begin to worship; te = they; api = also; ca = and; atitaranti = transcend; eva = certainly; mṛtyuṃ = the path of death; śrutiparāyaṇāḥ = inclined to the process of hearing.;
