When, through every gate (sense) in this body, the light-of-intelligence shines, then it may be known that SATTWA is predominant.

sarvadvāreṣu = in all the gates; dehe’smin = in this body; prakāśaḥ = the quality of illumination; upajāyate = develops; jñānaṃ = knowledge; yadā = when; tadā = at that time; vidyāt = know; vivṛddhaṃ = increased; sattvaṃ = the mode of goodness; ityuta = thus it is said.;
